It is a matter of serious concern that the employees of the University have gone on illegitimate strike for no reasonable demands. It is also worrisome that some of the employees are making pretexts of those incidents happened outside the University campus to halt the functioning of the University. The University administration never appreciates misbehavior and violence of any kind that takes place anywhere. Such incidents are completely unacceptable in a civilized society and must not be made excuses to prevent work. In this situation, the administration appeals to all those employees who have remained illegitimately absent from their duties to resume their work at the earliest. It is expected that the employees should create congenial atmosphere that this University deserves so that its academic and administrative activities are not hampered.
The administration cautions employees not to be misled by vested interest who want to disrupt smooth functioning of the University and have ulterior motives by disturbing peace and tranquility on the campus. The administration emphasizes that whosoever indulges into unlawful activities shall be strictly dealt with.
The University administration further reminds that it has already requested to suspend any type of Dharna and Procession since 28.02.2017 and hopes that the Employees Association will comply with this instruction and resume their work.
