Head, Department of Law, AU:

Students of LL.M. new course III Semester (session 2017-18) are hereby informed to see the final list of dissertation for the IV Semester, placed at the Notice board  of the Department. The students are further required to consult their respective supervisors to get necessary instructions for writing their dissertation. The last date for submission of the dissertation is 31.03.2018 the students must follow the following instructions for writing their dissertation. 1. Main text of the dissertation which shall exclude the content/ index, acknowledgment bibliography etc. shall be between 110 to 140 pages. 2. The dissertation should be typed in times new roman of font size 12 with line spacing 1.5 the head notes font size of 14 and the title font size of 16 the krait Dev font size shall be of 14, with head note font size of 16 and title font size of 18. 3.  Students should follow either JILI methods of citation or uniform method for the purpose of footnoting the font size of footnote typed in times new roman shall be of 10 with no spacing. The font size of footnote in krait Dev shall be of 12 with no spacing

Dr. Abhay K. Pandey. Department of Biochemistry, AU:
As part of ongoing series of lectures by eminent scientists, Prof. Babita Agarwal, Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada delivered a lecture on “The importance of the Complement System in Immunity” in the Department of Biochemistry on November 24, 2017. Immunity is an important aspect of human health. In case it is compromised immunity disease burden increases. Prof. Agarwal highlighted the importance of innate and adaptive immunity in human health. Complement system plays significant role in fighting invading pathogens.  Lecture was attended by large number of students and research scholars and faculty members. Prof. Poonam Mittal, Prof. Abhay K. Pandey, Prof. S. I. Rizvi, Dr. Munish Kumar and Dr. Ujala Minas were present on the occasion.
