The aim and object of the Association are to promote physical well being of the University students in general, by providing facilities for game and sports and by organizing competition and tournaments. Keeping in mind, the aims and objectnies, the activities of the Association are planned. Inspite of the infrastructural deficiency and resource crunch, the Association has been able to achieve National and International level achievements. A brief report about the achievements of the Association are as follows:
Selection trials/Coaching Camp were organized in different discipline for the final selection of the University teams. The selected teams participated in U.P. Championships / Local Tournament before their final departure for the Inter University Tournaments.
Total number of 25 (Twenty five ) teams participated in Cetral Zone/Inter Zonal/All India Inter University Tournaments. The break up of the participating teams is as follows:
Basketball (M), Basketball (W), Badminton (W), Cricket (M), Football (M), Football (W), Hockey (M), Hockey (W), Handball (M), Kho-Kho (M), Kho-Kho (W), Kabaddi (M), Table- Tennis (M), Table- Tennis (W), Tennis (M),Tennis (W) and Volleyball (M) teams participated in Central Zone Inter University Tournament.
Athletic (M) ), Boxing (M), Gymnastic (M), Gymnastic (W), Swimming (M), and Wrestling (M) teams participated in All India Inter University Tournaments.
