“GO CASHLESS, GO GREEN” is the slogan being widely disseminated by the present government and the economist will be the focal topic of the National Conference being conducted by Department of Economics at Allahabad University on 23-24 Mar 18. The conference will witness sharing of thoughts and vision by more than 100 distinguished scholars. The conference will quest to address the major issues and huddles faced by the present government and organisations in promulgating the concept of cashless economy. The concern of financial inclusion and how to embrace the underprivileged population under the same umbrella will also be discussed in the conference. The conference is scheduled to commence at 10:00 hrs on 23 Mar 18 with the ‘Welcome Address’of Prof. G.C. Tripathi, Head, Economics Department, Allahabad University. Dr. Karimullah, Organising Secretary will introduce ‘Theme of the Conference’ to the dignitaries.Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Hari Singh Gaur Vishwavidyalaya, A Central University Prof R.P. Tiwari will do the honour of delivering ‘Inaugural Address’. Shri Monomoy Mukherjee, General Manager, NABARD will do the ‘Keynote Address’. Presidential Address will be carried out by Prof. K.S. Mishra, Vice-Chancellor, Allahabad A Central University. “Constraints of Cashless Economy in India: The Path Ahead” will be the topic of Panel Discussion. The panel will be chaired by Prof. Alka Agarwal, Former Dean, Faculty of Commerce, Allahabad University. Following will be the discussants in the panel discussion:- Shri J. S.
