M.Com. Course Structure and Syllabus
The Programme: It is a regular full time four semester Master Degree Programme in Commerce, redesigned and updated under the Regulations on Choice based Credit System proposed to be made effective from July, 2018.
The M.Com. Programme has the following salient features:
i.              Five Core Courses in the First Semester with 20 Credits in total;
ii.             Five Core Courses in the Second Semester with 20 Credits in total;
iii.   Three Core Courses and Two Elective Courses comprising of one Group, in the Third Semester with 20 Credits in total;
iv.  Three Core Courses and Two Elective Courses comprising of one Group, in the Fourth Semester with 20 Credits in total.
v.    The M.Com.  – First Semester shall comprise of the following Five Core Courses:
COM – 501     Accounting Theory and Practices                        4 Credits
COM – 502     Advanced Business Economics                             4 Credits
COM – 503     Business Management                                           4 Credits
COM – 504     Economic Environment                                          4 Credits
COM – 505     Business Statistics                                                  4 Credits

लखनउ विश्वविद्यालय एवं एथ्रोपोलोजी अलुम्नी असोशिएशन, लखनउ विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा आयोजित अंतरविश्वविद्यालय मानवविज्ञान निगन्ध लेखन प्रतियोगिता में मानवविज्ञान विभाग, इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र/ छात्राओं ने सफलता प्राप्त की । प्रतियोगिता में इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय एम0एस0सी0 तृतीय सेमेस्टर की छात्रा ज्योति मिश्रा ने प्रथम स्थान, एम0ए0 तृतीय सेमेस्टर के छात्र आनन्द मिश्रा ने  तृतीय स्थान एवं प्रथम सेमेस्टर के छात्र अतुल कुमार मौर्या ने सांत्वना पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। विभाग के शिक्षक सहायक प्रोफेसर राहुल पटेल के दिशानिर्देशन में छात्र/ छात्राओं ने उक्त प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभाग किया।
