YOGA DAY - 2017

Report on International Yoga Day-2017

 

In the joint collaboration of the Head, Department of Physical Education and Dean Student Welfare successfully organized two days Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) Training Programme from 19 to 20 June 2017, at 6 to 7 a.m. and followed by International Yoga day 21 June, 2017 as per guidelines of Ministry of AYUSH and UGC, New Delhi at flag Hosting ground (Adjacent Proctor Office) Faculty of Arts University of Allahabad, Allahabad. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor University of Allahabad Prof R L Hangloo, presided over the function. Physical Educationist and Yoga expert Dr. Bhaskar Shukla was the resource person, where the student, Faculty Member, Staff and Families sensitized about the strength and benefits of Yoga in promoting physical, mental and spiritual health and well being. Different Yogaasana was also demonstrated by the student of Department of Physical Education On this occasion Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor actively performed Asanas with proper skill.  Prof Hangloo addressed the participants with the motivated words and suggestions.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof R L Hangloo, of University of Allahabad was distributed the T’ Shirts among participants to spread out the harmony, well being through Yoga. 

The plantation work also done after the yoga programme by the Honb'le Vice Chancellor Prof R L Hangloo, Garden Incharge Prof N B Singh, Prof RKP Rana, DSW, Prof Archana Chahal.

On this occasion Prof. N.K. Shukla, Registrar, University of Allahabad, Prof. Archana Chahal, Head Department of Physical Education, Prof. R.K.P. Singh, Dean Student Welfare, Prof Ram Sevak Dubey Proctor, Prof Harsh Kumar, PRO, Mr A.K.Kanojia, Finance Officer, Joint Registrar, Deans, Directors, Heads, Officers, Librarian, Staff, Research Scholars, Students  and families were presented for practicing in Yogic activities.

A special lecture com demonstration on “International Yoga Day: Yoga for Healthy Life style” was also organized for the participants of Summer School in department of Physical education which was coordinated by Prof Archana Chahal, Head, Dr. Jaya Kpoor, Academic Staff College & Resourse person Dr. Bhaskar Shukla. 

 

माननीय कुलपति प्रो0 रतन लाल हांगलू के निर्देशानुसार एवं आयुश मंत्रालय एवं यू0जी0सी0 के कामन योगा प्रोटोकाल ;ब्ल्च्द्ध के तहत, शारीरिक शिक्षा विभाग एवं छात्र कल्याण अधिष्ठाता के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में दो दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम 19 से 20 जून 2017 को प्रातः ध्वजारोहण मैदान (प्राॅक्टर आफिस के समीप) कला संकाय, शारीरिक शिक्षाविद एवं योग विशेषज्ञ डा0 भास्कर शुक्ला, कवल्याधाम, लोनावाला, के निर्देशन में आयोजित किया गया एवं इसका समापन 21 जून, 2017 को प्रातः 6 से 7 बजे उपरोक्त कार्यस्थल पर किया गया। जिसका उद्देश्य योग को एक सांस्कृतिक धरोहर, तथा स्वस्थ जीवन शैली के रूप में विकसित एवं प्रसारित करना था। कार्यक्रम का संचालन योग विशेषज्ञ एवं शारीरिक शिक्षाविद डा0 भास्कर शुक्ला ने किया एवं धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रो0 अर्चना चहल, विभागाध्यक्ष,शारीरिक शिक्षा विभाग ने किया । उक्त कार्यक्रम में प्रार्थना से शुरूवात के बाद शरीर के लचीलेपन का अभ्यास उसके उपरान्त खडे होकर, बैठकर, पेट  के बल लेटकर, पीठ के बल लेटकर एवं शिथलीकरण आसन कराया गये। कपाल भारती के तीन सेट,नाडीशोधन,शीतली एवं भामरी के तीन सेट कराये गयें । उसके उपरान्त ध्यान का अभ्यास कराया गया । आयुश मंत्रालय के प्रोटोकाल के निर्देशानुसार अन्तरराष्टीय योग दिवस पर सभी प्रतिभागियों को स्वास्थ्य के प्रति संकल्प एवं शांतिपाठ कराया गया। इस अवसर पर कुलपति द्वारा प्रतिभागीयों को टी-शर्ट का वितरण भी किया गया। अन्तरराष्टीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर वृक्षारोपण का कार्यक्रम माननीय कुलपति द्धारा सम्पन्न हुआ, जिसमें प्रों0 अर्चना चहल एवं प्रो0 एन0 बी0 सिंह का विशेष सहयोग रहा। इस अवसर पर माननीय कुलपति प्रो0 रतन लाल हाॅगलू ने प्रतिभागियों को अपने सम्बोधन से प्रोत्साहित किया एवं जीवन में योग के महत्व को बताया। प्रो0 एन0के0 शुक्ला, कुलसचिव, प्रो0 अर्चना चहल, विभागाध्यक्ष शारीरिक शिक्षा विभाग, प्रो0 आर0के0पी0 सिंह अधिष्ठाता छात्र कल्याण, प्रो0 हर्ष कुमार, पी आर ओ, प्रो0 रामसेवक दुबे, कुलानुशासक, विश्वविद्यालय के शिक्षकगण एवं कर्मचारी गण, शोधार्थियों एवं छात्रों ने इस अवसर पर अपनी सहभागिता दी।

Yoga Day - 2016

 

In the joint collaboration of the Department of Physical Education, Chief Proctor, Dean Students Welfare and NSS Program Co-ordinator has been organized three days Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) training program from June 18 to 20, 2016 at 06:00 to 07:00 am followed by “International Yoga Day- June 21, 2016” as per the guidelines of Ministry of AYUSH and UGC, New Delhi in the Flag Hosting Ground (adjacent Proctor’s office), Faculty of Arts, University of Allahabad. Physical Educationist & Yoga expert Dr. Bhaskar Shukla was the resource person where the students, faculty members, staff and families sensitized about the strength and benefits of yoga in promoting physical, mental, & spiritual health and well being. On this occasion Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. R.L. Hangloo, University of Allahabad addressed the participants with his motivated words and suggestions. The Registrar Prof N.K.Shukla, Head department of Physical Education Prof Archana Chahal, Chief Proctor Prof. I.R. Siddiqui, Dean Students Welfare Prof. Harsh Kumar, NSS Program Co-ordinator Dr. Manju Singh, faculties, NSS and NCC cadets and students were present for practicing Yoga at this occasion. The Musical Display of Yoga was also performed by the students of Department Of Physical Education at the end of the program.
